We are happy to announce the publication of our study: "The effect of genotype on self-reported dysarthria and dysphagia in Parkinson’s disease: A Parkinson’s progression markers initiative study" in the International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders.
This retrospective study looked at differences in self-reported swallowing and speech complaints in common genetic subtypes of Parkinson's disease. While at baseline, none of the genetic groups differed from one another in their judgement of swallowing and speech, there were differences between the groups at later time points.
